Torque is the twisting and turning forces generated in machinery or equipment and Torque Sensor is the device used to measure these forces. Torque sensors can be very compacted in size and small but still stay very strong and powerful and sometimes imperative within the application they are working. Therefore, torque sensors are the transducers that translate mechanical inputs of torsion into electrical output signals. The torque transducer can be either static or dynamic and can measure turning forces in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. Dynamic Torques Sensors

While non-contact torque sensors make use of magnetic or inductive technology to offer precise measurements at high rotational speeds, they provide elongated maintenance-free workings as they do not apply wearing parts like slip rings.
